The Chernobyl, syndrome made its appearance as the sister Syndrome of the Hiroshima-Nagasaki syndrome, and the World is alarmed. The fact is that humanity wants all the Benefits of science which accrue from an industrial set up, Which in turn needs energy? The fast-expanding world industries will increase world population and ultimately Exhaust oil resources. That will be a point where  humanity Must make a decision we must either reject the industrial Set up and face famine, or adopt atomic energy, which is the Only form of energy which may meet the requirements of The industrial set up.

The circumstances reveal now that to mankind is left no alternative but either to vaish under the hails of atomic bombs, suddenly, deservedly. or to perish slowly,  lingeringly, painfully under the       stings of the radiation of atomic energy, lingeringly, also deservedly. Neither the idea of atomic deterrence through stock-piles will for-ever work, nor there ought to be any reason for satisfaction in the thought of a generation  or a few generation

(200)THE STATUE OF EINSTEIN AND THAT OF OZYMANDIAS

 

Two statues in this world exist to represent two different ages that of ozymandias to represent an ancient age. That of Einstein to represent this modern atomic age.
