(269)NUCLEAR
(ATOMIC) THEORY
Mankind has for long made use of the energy of
flowing water and the energy given out in the burning of wood
and charcoal. The first is an instant of gravitational energy

(270)THEOLOGICAL
DEVELOPMENT OF ISLAM
The Quran evidently has endorsed
them all to the letter, to prove that the Quran is in no way
behind Christianity or any other spiritual creed in spiritualism
or otherworldliness. There remains no reason to retain the
misunderstanding about Islam regarding its views of this world,
and wealth, and this modern progress, this systematic,
organized, ever-increasing science-guided, infinite and eternal
progress of Baconian culture. Islam is a complete, and perfect,

(271)WASIF
ALI WASIF

my poetry and my talks, and his genius took fire. I left Lahore.

storm of intellect rather supernatural intellect burst upon his
mind and I received a very long poem composed and published by
Wasif in Urdu. Wasif had completely followed my views. Four
books in Urdu Prose followed in succession. A wonderful product
of Wasif's mind, but the pattern of his views was the exact
replica, a real picture of my views. There is no wonder if the
views of Wasif and mine have assumed identity.

in sixties after 1964 that by chance I met Wasif Ali Wasif. I
was a research investigator in the service of West Pakistan
Auqaf Department Lahore, (Pakistan) and walked daily from
Shahdarrah to my office in Shah Chiragh Building, and then
walked back to Shahdarrah where I lived. A little distance from
Shah Chiragh on my way was situated the Lahore English College,
run by Wasif Ali Wasif. I do not remember how, but one day
coming back from Shah Chiragh I found myself in the Lahore
English College where I met Wasif. I found him very sweet, very
sincere, endowed with remarkable excellence of a mind, and
endued with strong and keen intellect, very friendly a friend in
need.
