The fact is that humanity wants all the Benefits of science which accrue from an industrial set up, which in turn needs energy? The fast-expanding world industries will increase world population and ultimately exhaust oil resources. That will be a point where humanity Must make a decision we must either reject the industrial Set up and face famine, or adopt atomic energy, which is the Only form of energy which may meet the requirements of The industrial set up. After Chernobyl, the question arises as which is reliable and foolproof? But what will be the state of this world when every powerhouse, ship, railway engine, and private car will have its own reactor. Certainly the exploding reactors will present a scene of fireworks, if reactors are not rendered safe.
