Allamah Mohammad Yousuf Gabriel, as I learned during the interview has an achievement to his credit that has neither a precedent in the past human history, nor a parallel in these present times. He has completed a series of books unique in English and in Urdu on a topic which he calls “Gabriel’s Extinguishing the Atomic Hell Series”, to save this mankind from the painful end in the flames of atomic hell. He has learned and written various worlds of knowledge without a teacher or a college, and in most difficult circumstances. The course of his study has ranged over a period of forty years. He claims to have done all this in the spirit of a mission vouchsafed him by the higher divine authorities, and judging from what he has achieved, and the manner in which he has achieved, would leave no doubt about the truth of his claim when I approached him for interview I felt as if he reminded me of a Theological celebrity in the early days of Islam. But when he spoke in English I thought his speech and his accent would be a delight of the heart of an Englishman. When the interview began, the following passed between us:-
(Q) What have you achieved?

Considerable portions of all the Urdu Volumes have been published in the Pakistan dailies and journals of repute. Yet none of the volumes either English or Urdu has as yet been published.
(Q) Does it not appear unusual and rather odd that volumes on so important, so urgent and so burning a topic be heaped up in a pile unpublished?
(Ans.) Yes you could call it a pile against the stockpile of the nuclear powers. There were reasons for not taking the usual path that of publishing a volume before starting the next the extent of the project would allow no time for running after the publication of a single volume. The project thus would have been left incomplete. Also judging from the theme itself and its difficulties it was clear that no publisher would find courage to publish it. And if published there was every certainty of its being flopped to mean discouragement to me and failure and sure desertion for it I was engaged in sort of a work very difficult, very unpleasant and fraught with uncertainties the realization of the importance of the work added to my anxiety, and I feared that in case something happened to me there was none in the world to take up the work. And another cause of my anxiety and delay was that I had learned all this without a teacher. It was an excruciating experience though I think I read better than with a teacher.
Now that by the grace of God Almighty my work is smoothly done. I can fly or I can run. I have no fears of this work becoming state or outmoded. The physicists are gradually coming over to the views which I expressed in my volumes since 1972. It is with reason if I say, that this my work will be needed by mankind even after the threat of atomic hell has vanished. For they will need the light of this work in order to save them from the flames of the external Hotama(The Atomic Hell) of the next external world. Now the time has come that every publisher in the East or the West will desire to publish my works with certainty of long term profits.
(Q) Strange indeed. Did you say you gained all this knowledge without a teacher of all these complex subjects; languages, literatures, philosophies, sciences, histories, scriptures, all of the highest order, and intricate nature? A case unique in the history of human intellect. Could you explain how you managed to do it?
(Ans.) It is a case, if Freud were called upon to explain it, His answer would have been, “an intelligent Brain, labor constant, perseverance incessant and so on so forth”. But it does not tell how one could understand the problems of math’s or science without a teacher. If Darwin had read my works, and was then told that these were the works of a man without a teacher. Then the distinction which appeared between the mind of an animal and that of the Homo-Sapiens, and Darwin was a man not to miss it would certainly have cast at least some doubt in his mind about his theory of man’s descent from a monkey , or a low animal.
In my early years I had absconded from school in utter disgust never to return. It was in the year 1942, my 25th year, and the year in which Enrico Fermi the great Italian physicist succeeded in opening the gate of atomic hell on this world by his successful experiment of fission chain reaction in Chicago, U.S.A, that I totally ignorant of such things at that time felt in me an urge irresistible for knowledge. But due to my advanced age and my responsibility as the earning member of a respectable family I could not join any educational institute. I therefore started reading on my own and I kept reading continually for forty years thereafter. This span of forty years was for me a lengthy, a painful, a sleepless ordeal in untold miseries and hardships. No john Bunyan is there today to narrate and describe my intellectual pilgrimage. Though my endeavor, my toil, my labor, my sacrifices, my hardships, my dangers and my risks during my intellectual journey would cast a shadow on the pilgrim of john Bunyan. Nor there is a john Milton to call me “the intellectual Samson of this age”. It is my misfortune that my work is to be comprehended only by the greatest among the physicists. The rest of the mankind have to look for their attitude and review. Yet once the trumpet is blown then even the Tonga-wala will knowingly discuss it.
I say I did my reading like a man possessed and perhaps as the only person in this present age acquiring knowledge merely for the sake of knowledge and pursuing an unprofitable course. I learned Urdu, Persian and English, these languages and their literatures perusing. Most of their prominent writers of prose and poetry to a stage that at times I thought I could parody their greatest masters. I read philosophies: Greek, Christian, Hindu, Budhist, Islamic and the modern, meditating on every point with a critical gaze. I read Histories, Political, Social, Literary, Economic, Natural, Religious besides the Histories of literatures, Philosophies and Sciences. And I read Scriptures, The Quran and the Bible, Testaments new and old. To know the Quran I had to learn Arabic and I read with rapture the works of pre-Islamic poets of Arabia, and I read the lives of the Prophets, and the Scientists and other great men of the past. And I read Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Botany Biology and Radio-Biology while of Bacon, Darwin Carl Marx and Spinoza I made a study to the depth of their minds. It is not easy for anyone to solve this puzzle, unless I disclose a fact which was at the Root of all this endeavour. In 1942, the year in which I began my study, I in Musayyib in Iraq in a dream was vouchsafed the mission on the recommendation of the saint AL-KHEDHR, the saint with green in mamah. Here I will not go into the details, But that which I was shown in the vision amounted to great signs of God. But let me make it clear that it is not at all on the basis of this dream or mission, that I claim any preference or authority. My authority is based on the work which I am presenting of the world as a scientific argument in this age of science not miracles. Let the argument therefore be judged accordingly. In 1961 I discovered the theme of Hotama (the atomic hell) in the Quran and in 1972 I put my pen to my writing which I completed in 1981.
(Q) What is your mission?
(Ans.) It is simply to sound the warning of the Quran about the atomic hell to the world, that by removing the causes of the appearance of the atom Bombs which the Quran has given, they may escape the grievous tortures of the atomic hell.
(Q) And what is Hotama?
(Ans.) Hotama appears in the Brief 104th chapter of the Quran named AL-HOMAZA. Hotama means igneous hell. Its fire is characterized by the Quran. The characteristics given are all the distinctive characteristics which distinguish and differentiate the Atomic Phenomenon e.g. Chemical, electrical. This in itself is a miracle of description worthy of the attention of a physicist of the caliber of Einstein, the God of scientists. His death therefore is to be reckoned as a personal loss to me, Hotama is a sort of an eternal hell in the next eternal world. This present atomic hell of this transient world is only the exact representation of AL-HOTAMA. But because the cause of the appearance of both and that of the punishment therein is the same as is given by the Quran, therefore they who despite deserving the Atomic punishment will escape this present atomic hell will in the next world see the eternal Hotama (atomic hell) lying in wait for them. The Quran has given the cause of the appearance of the atomic hell and of the punishment therein, as slander (Propaganda), engrossment in wealth-accumulation, and a belief in the eternity of the wealth. These unfortunately are the Basic characteristics of this present age of science guided progress, and the result is there in the form of Atomic Bombs and Radiations. This discovery of Hotama in the Quran is by the Grace of Merciful Allah my own. The world both Muslims and the Non-Muslims was ignorant of it till I declared it in my articles in Newspapers. It however, this mankind has met the Atomic Doom, the Devil will have an occasion to say to God, O God had I not remonstrated with you over the creation of this creature of mould? See what he has done to himself.
(Q) What are your hopes regarding the end of this mankind:-
(Ans.) Bertrand Russell died in disappointment. He saw the end of this quarreling mankind in Atomic Bomb. I too would have followed the suit. But this warning of the Quran gave me hope. Apparently there is no Reason to believe that the atomic war will forever be avoided. Yet my inner Conviction is that this world will escape the atomic doom. This warning of the Quran shall be like the Noah’s Ark in the deluge of Atomic fire for this mankind. What will the promised Messiah and Mehdi come for if the atomic ruin of the world, is accomplished before their arrival?
The interview ended and I said good-bye and went home amazed.
