Narwan (emancipation of the soul from Metempsychosis) is the prominent of the Jain Matt (The Jain Religion). The method of achieving Narwan according to Jain Matt is to free the heart from every worldly desire and wish. Because the worldly desires and wishes are basic cause of grief and affliction. When man’s desire is not gratified, he becomes the victim of Sorrow. Therefore, when there will be no worldly desire or wish then the soul will rejoice and will have peace and tranquility. The desire of sensuous? Pleasure it is which is the basic cause that leads the man towards grief.
According to Buddha the basic point is the achievement of Narwan that is souls’ emancipation from the tortuous chain of the transmigration of soul; the root of every evil according to Buddha’s the worldly desire. When man slaughters the rebellions she-camel of worldly desires by the knife of the obedience of God, then he attains virtues like God, and in that state his soul becomes a part of the soul of God Buddha calls that state as Narwana.
