Quran says:-
“Woe to every backbiter, defamer, who amasseth wealth (of this world) and arrangeth it (against the future). He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. Nay, for verily, he will be cast into Al-Hotama. And what could teach thee what Al-Hotama is? It is fire of Allah enkindled which leaps up onto the hearts. It is (a fire) closed in on them in outstretched columns.” (Quran CIV-Al-Homaza)
This prophecy is divided in two parts. First part constitutes the cause of the punishment of Al-Hotama. The second part comprises the definition, description and characterization of the fire of Al-Hotama. Al-Hotama is a particular kind of a hell of the next eternal world. The atomic hell of this world is a transitory replica, a mere representation of the eternal Hotama, just as fire and garden are the representations of hell and paradise respectively. The cause of the punishment of Al Hotama as described by the prophecy can be found to be the exact characteristics of the modern philosophy of atomism. While the characterization of the fire of Al- Hotama by the prophecy can be found to be the exact characterization of atomic energy and its manifestations: that is the atomic bomb and the atomic radiations. This discovery and the entire work on it is by the Grace of God Almighty my own, and none can claim a share. The work has claimed thirteen hundred pages, from which I give you this nucleus. I will first attempt the mutual corroboration of the characteristics of the fire of Al Hotama and the atomic energy, and then of the causes of the punishment of Al Hotama and philosophy of modern atomism. This is a miracle of miracles on the part of the scripture. Neither the scientist, nor the philosopher can refute or contradict my treatment, for I treat the established facts discovered and established by themselves.
The Quran says: “Hotama”. Hotama literally means a crusher, a breaker. Atomic energy too is a crusher, a breaker. It is generated by breaking, crushing the binding of the nucleus of atom. It is a distinguishing characteristic of atomic energy. No other energy is generated by crushing or breaking anything. Again, atomic energy crushes the atomic nucleus, so also the atomic radiations crush the cell nucleus chromosomes. Thus because of the crushing both of the basic building block of the universe, that is atom, as well as of the basic unit of life, that is cell, the atomic energy maybe termed as the absolute crusher. No other type of energy can reach the atomic nucleus, which remains untouched and intact.
The Quran says “Hotama is a fire of which leaps up onto the hearts”. This again is the distinguishing characteristic of atomic energy among all other types of energy. The atomic energy is generated in the nuclei of atoms, both in the fission as well as fusion process. The atomic particles leap up onto the atomic nuclei. The nucleus and heart are synonymous. The text books of atomic physics bear out this testimony. Scores of examples may easily be quoted in which the nucleus of atom is called the heart of atom. In truth the point is established the very moment we call the atomic energy by its proper name that is nuclear energy. Further that the atomic radiations have a preferential attraction toward all that which is related to heart in the body. No other type of energy has to do anything with the atomic nuclei.
The Quran says, “Hotama is a fire closed in on them”. The atomic energy shows the encompassing characteristics as distinct from any other type of energy in comparison, and dozens of examples could be quoted. But the one that is: encompassment of mankind, even all life by the atomic radiations through long-term genetic effects to future generations after having concealed themselves for generations, and the encompassment of earth by the radiations to millions of years after even life having been made extinct by them, is one that stands as a most glaring proof of the encompassing characteristic of atomic energy.
The Quran says: {in outstretched columns}. The column of the atomic bomb explosion is well known. Even the radioactive particles maybe said to raise columns when the height of their tiny jumps is calculated in comparison to their littleness. A football rising in the same ratio of its size to its height assumed, just as the alpha particle has to its four centimeter rise, then the football may be calculated to rise a height far out into the outer space. Cosmic rays form unimaginably lofty columns.
The Quran says: “What could teach thee what Al-Hotama is?” The very same question may well be put to any atomist, any radiobiologist today despite all the knowledge. Indeed so complex is the subject of nuclear science that the answer of every knowing scientist to the above mentioned question will invariably be nothing.
And now to the characterization of the philosophy of atomism:-
The Quran says: “Every backbiter, defamer.”
The ancient theory of atomism has been a glaring calumny against the doctrine of faith, while in the course of the modern atomism the word propaganda has found its meanings changed from mere propagation to calumny, intellectual and sophisticated calumny though. The calumny of the modern philosophy against religion is no hidden secret.
The Quran says: (He amasseth wealth (of this world) and arrangeth it (against the future). “This modern philosophy is the philosophy of the world and its wealth exclusively. The followers of this philosophy, to wit, the entire mankind is engrossed in wealth accumulation day and night, day in day out and arranging it against the future. No better description than the one given by the prophecy of the Quran can be expected in view of this modern, science guided, continuous, systematic, ever-increasing, ever-expanding and infinite progress based on bacon’s design of modern atomism, the design according to which man’s dominion over nature for material advantage through continuous, systematic research of science is the actual business of man on earth. This philosophy of modern atomism is exclusively the philosophy of world and wealth and does in this particularity sand in opposition to every revealed religion of God. It was Blake who remarked and very truthfully that if what Bacon says is right, what Christ says is false.”
The Quran says. “He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal”. It means that he is so engrossed in the world and is so solicitous about the durability of the words of the world, as if he thinks that he has forever to live in this world. The ancient theory of atomism regarded this universe as eternal, and as far as this modern age is concerned, it hardly needs any comment in this respect. The modern progress is considered as eternal, while the eternity of every monument of progress is always in the sight of the people.
The Quran says “Nay, for verily he will be cast into Al Hotama.” It means that the hopes of the wealth-accumulating slanderer are groundless. Both he and his wealth will be cast into Al-Hotama to be crushed. The atomic energy has appeared in the process in the course of the research of science conducted for the purpose of wealth acquirement, and is the logical and scientific outcome of Bacon’s design of modern atomism, from atom to atom bomb. Like the three ingredients of gunpowder the three causes have produced the atomic fire.
Now this is the only real guidance to avert the danger of atomic hell, and this is the only ray of hope for a groping humanity. Will then they pay heed to this divine warning? Will a blinded world pay heed to the word of guidance. The adoption of atomic energy in this stage and in these circumstances is surely an act of blindness. A hasty world is devouring the poison, unscientific is the act of the scientist who recommends the use of atomic energy for peace. Atomic energy as yet knows no peace. Let the atomic energy be made innocuous in the laboratory and then recommended for human service. This only is the scientific manner. This experiment of research cum utility in the case of atomic energy on the world-wised basis judging from the peculiar nature of atomic energy is a leap of mankind into a crocodile infested ocean without boats. It is willful suicide on the part of mankind. To adopt atomic energy without having control on radiations ,without stopping the reactors form exposing and without giving any means of protection against radiations to millions residing in the neighborhood of reactors, without discovering any sure cure for radiation sickness and none having in sight, without having a certainty about even the permissible dose of radiation, and worst of all without having any means to detect or to destroy the mutated genes or doing anything after the mutated genes have manifested themselves in abnormal births to multiply and endanger health, like even the existence of species, if it is not hasty, willful suicide of mankind, what else will you like to call it. Let the scientist speak, if, however, this mankind is so blinded by the influence of the three causes as to be determined to take the leap into the blazing atomic hell, then who can stop them from doing so.
